For us, this includes trees, wildflowers, nesting aids for insects, and shelters for hedgehogs and other creatures.
Beekeeper Frauke Gätjens
Our bee colonies, for example, are lovingly and expertly cared for by ‘our’ beekeeper Frauke Gätjens and make an important contribution. Last year, we gave Johannes Oerding a colony of bees, and this year, Atze Schröder received one. One colony hums particularly well, while the other tells funny stories all the time.
What all the colonies have in common is that they produce honey from rotten cores.
